The Zoom integration with Notably allows you to import recordings and transcripts from your Zoom cloud storage to your Notably projects for analysis.
How it Works
Once you connect your Zoom integration to Notably, you can go into the Data section of a Notably project, click Add Data and select Import from Zoom in the dropdown.
From there you can search your Zoom recording history and select the recordings or transcripts you want to import to Notably.
When you import a Zoom recording to Notably, Notably generates a transcript which you can highlight to create snippets of data to combine together across recordings for analysis. The highlights become notes that you can tag, analyze for sentiment, combine into themes, and ultimately reference as evidence in insights.
Getting Started
To connect Notably to your Zoom account, you must have a free or paid Notably account.
In your Notably account click your name in the top right corner and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
On the Settings page, find the Zoom integration and click Connect. You will be prompted to sign into your Zoom account to authorize access and install the integration.
Disconnecting the Zoom Integration
To fully disconnect Notably's Zoom integration anytime follow the next two steps.
Step 1. Disconnecting the Zoom integration from Notably
Remove the Zoom integration in Notably by clicking your name in the upper right corner and selecting Settings from the dropdown menu.
In the section for the Zoom integration, click Disconnect. Once you disconnect the integration, Notably will no longer have permission to access your cloud recordings and the option to import data from Zoom will be removed from your Notably projects.
Step 2. Disconnecting the Zoom integration from Zoom
Remove Notably's Zoom integration directly in Zoom by following the steps below:
Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Notably integration.
Find the Notably integration
Click Uninstall.
Troubleshooting Notably's Zoom Integration
If you've connected the Zoom integration in Settings, but you don't see the option to select from your recording history, you can try:
checking you've authorized the correct Zoom account
looking at your cloud recordings in Zoom to make sure you have options to select from
double-checking that you are searching a 30-day time period and that you have recordings to select from in that time period
disconnecting and reconnecting your integration
