In Notably, teammates can be invited as editors, viewers or admins.

Admin: a (paid) user that manages billing & teammates and can edit data.

Editor: a (paid) user on a team that can edit and interact with your research data.

Viewer: a user that has been invited to your team that is only able to view, search, comment/react on insights & cannot edit or make changes to the data.

Settings > Licenses & Team

You can manage your Licenses & Team in your settings. Simply click your Profile > Settings > Licenses & Team.

To invite a new editor, type in their email address, select their role and press "Invite to Workspace".

See the example below:

Once a teammate has been successfully invited, their name will appear in your team with a "Pending" Status.

To accept their invite, your teammate will receive an email from Notably. This email will prompt them to set a password and direct them to your workspace. Once they have accepted their invite, they will receive an "Active" status.

I received an error trying to invite someone, what do I do?

If you try to invite someone to your workspace that has already signed up, you will be prompted to reach out to us in support chat. Because the user already exists, we will reach out to them to get their permission to merge them into your workspace, and see if they have any existing data to move with them! Once we hear back from this user, we will be able to take care of the merge right away.
